Why Ruam Wealth

Education that stands on its own — without selling you anything

In Thailand's financial education landscape, most sessions are underwritten by a product. Ours are not. Here is what that makes possible.

Six reasons participants choose Ruam Wealth

No product sales, structurally

We are not licensed to sell financial products and hold no broker registration. The session cannot drift into a product recommendation because no mechanism exists for us to benefit from one.

Grounded in the Thai system

Our materials are built from Thai market data, Thai Social Security regulations, and the Thai provident fund structure. Not adapted from generic international curricula.

Small cohorts, individual attention

A maximum of ten participants per cohort. The facilitator knows each participant's situation and has time to address questions that go beyond the programme slides.

Tangible materials you keep

Every programme includes a printed reference card or personal template. These are designed to be updated and consulted over years, not filed away after the session.

Paced for adult learning

Programmes are spaced over weeks or months. Financial understanding takes time to settle. We structure sessions to give participants space to absorb, question, and apply between meetings.

Content updated each cohort

Materials are reviewed before every cohort cycle. Changes to Thai regulations, market behaviour, or Social Security contributions find their way into the current session's materials.

In More Detail

What each benefit looks like in practice

Professional expertise — depth over breadth

The facilitators at Ruam Wealth bring specific expertise in Thai equity markets, retirement planning within the Thai Social Security system, and the mechanics of bank relationship management in Thailand. This is not general financial literacy teaching. It is expertise accumulated within a specific country's financial system, directed at a specific life stage.

Each facilitator has held practitioner roles in the field they now teach. The lead facilitator spent two decades in Thai equity analysis before transitioning to education. The retirement planning facilitator spent fifteen years as a consulting practitioner. They teach what they have done, not what they have read.

Current data, primary sources

Our return data sessions draw on multi-decade datasets sourced from the Stock Exchange of Thailand, the Bank of Thailand's published rate histories, and regional market archives. We present this data in sessions without commercial interpretation — the facilitator explains what it shows and what it does not, not what it implies you should buy.

Printed reference cards are updated before each cohort. When the Social Security contribution rate changes, or when provident fund rules are amended by the Revenue Department, those changes appear in the next set of printed materials. Participants who have attended in a previous year are welcome to request an updated card.

A considered, unhurried relationship

Enquiries receive a personal reply within two working days — not an automated sequence. If a programme is not a good fit for where you are in your financial thinking, we will say so honestly. Our interest is in participants who benefit from the session, not in filling every available seat.

After a programme concludes, participants are welcome to write with clarifying questions about the material they received. We do not offer post-programme advisory services, but we will answer questions about what was covered in the session.

Transparent, single-fee pricing

Each programme has a single published fee in Thai Baht. There are no add-ons, no optional extras, and no post-programme products to purchase. Fees cover the session, the printed materials, and the facilitator's preparation time. Nothing else is charged.

  • Reading Long-Term Returns — 5,400 THB (four sessions)
  • The Conversation with the Bank — 8,200 THB (one full day)
  • Year-by-Year Retirement Conversation — 11,400 THB (four monthly sessions)

Outcomes measured in fluency, not transactions

We do not measure programme success by how many participants subsequently bought a financial product. We measure it by whether participants leave with a clearer understanding of their own situation — and the tools to continue developing that understanding independently. Participants who have completed the retirement programme describe it as "finally having a document I actually understand" rather than a plan a bank printed for them.

Distinctive Features

What you will not find elsewhere

The Bank Conversation preparation card

Our workshop on bank conversations produces a printed A5 card listing the questions worth asking your relationship manager, organised by asset type. Participants take this card to actual bank meetings. No other financial education provider in Bangkok offers this specific resource.

The year-by-year retirement template

A personal printed document, adapted to the Thai context, that maps your anticipated retirement decade year by year. Social Security payments, provident fund drawdown, and household budget columns built specifically for Thailand. You keep the original and continue filling it in over time.

Multi-decade Thai market return reading

Rather than presenting a simplified version of how markets work, we sit with participants and read actual historical return charts from the SET together. Participants learn to see what the chart shows and — just as importantly — what it omits.

Structural independence from financial products

This is a structural fact, not a policy statement. Because we hold no product licence and receive no referral income, the session has no commercial incentive to end in a product recommendation. Participants report that this changes the atmosphere of the room significantly.
